Unlocking the Fountain of Youth: Strategies to Slash Your Biological Age by a Decade

According to David Sinclair, a renowned antiaging researcher, he claims to have successfully decreased his “biological age” by a decade. Additionally, he recently disclosed the details of his morning regimen.
Oil Pulling

Sinclair stated that he begins his morning routine by using coconut oil for oil pulling, which he believes enhances his oral microbiome. Oil pulling, an ancient Indian folk remedy, involves swishing oil in the mouth for approximately 20 minutes. Proponents claim that it eliminates gum bacteria, reduces plaque, and detoxifies the mouth. However, scientific studies on a large scale to substantiate these assertions are limited, and the American Dental Association does not endorse this practice.
Hot water with lemon

The consumption of hot lemon water is often praised as a beneficial routine, with claims of enhancing complexion, reducing bloating, and detoxifying the body. Nevertheless, according to Joy Dubost, a registered dietitian nutritionist and food scientist, there is a lack of scientific evidence supporting these health claims. While lemon water is generally harmless and staying hydrated is beneficial, the purported health benefits remain unsubstantiated. This information was provided by Dubost during an interview with Healthline, where she served as a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Nontoxic’ toothpaste
Health states that toothpastes labeled as “nontoxic” or “natural” are formulated using natural ingredients and are devoid of artificial sweeteners, coloring, chemicals, and fluoride. Although consuming excessive amounts of fluoride can lead to problems, the American Dental Association (ADA) advises the use of fluoride-containing toothpaste due to its efficacy in combating cavities, fortifying enamel, and preventing tooth decay.
Green matcha tea

Sinclair mentioned that as part of his routine, he consumes green matcha tea, which is rich in beneficial polyphenols such as ECGC catechins. He specifically highlighted its potential as a cancer-preventative due to its properties. Earlier studies have suggested a potential correlation between consuming green tea and a reduced risk of stomach cancer. Matcha is also known for its high antioxidant content, which aids in reducing inflammation, as previously reported by Insider’s Courtney Telloian.
